General Info

Located at Hong Kong, Causeway Bay, Lockhart Rd, 463-483號 Plaza 2 Shop 3A, 3/F, Sushiro (Causeway Bay) is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant that attracts both locals and tourists looking for a convenient and enjoyable Japanese dining experience. From the moment I stepped inside, the lively atmosphere and constantly moving sushi belt created a fun setting that made browsing the menu feel effortless.

One of the standout aspects of this restaurant is the variety of dishes available. During my visit, the 日本產頂級池魚 immediately caught my attention with its fresh taste and delicate texture. The 油甘魚 was equally impressive, offering a clean and satisfying flavor that highlighted the quality of the ingredients. For those who enjoy creative sushi rolls, the 三文魚牛油果卷 delivers a pleasant combination of rich salmon and creamy avocado, making it a popular choice among diners.

Beyond sushi, the menu includes several side dishes that complement the meal perfectly. The Fried Shrimp Tempura with Fried Potato provides a crispy contrast to the fresh seafood selections. Meanwhile, the 八爪魚握壽司 offers a slightly chewy texture and balanced flavor that sushi enthusiasts will appreciate. These dishes add variety and help create a well-rounded dining experience.

Dessert is worth saving room for at Sushiro (Causeway Bay). The 綠茶芭菲 brings together layers of sweetness and matcha flavor, creating a refreshing finish after a sushi feast. Another memorable option is the 卡達拉娜, which delivers a smooth, creamy texture and a satisfying caramelized touch. These desserts provide a pleasant ending to the meal and leave a lasting impression.

The restaurant also offers several practical services that make visits comfortable for different types of guests. Dine-in service is well organized, and the venue is suitable for groups gathering for casual meals. Tourists will find the location convenient while exploring Causeway Bay, and families can benefit from the availability of high chairs. Accessibility is also considered, with a wheelchair accessible restroom available for guests who require it.

Based on my experience, Sushiro (Causeway Bay) stands out among restaurant locations in the area thanks to its combination of fresh sushi, diverse menu selections, and welcoming environment. Reviews often focus on convenience and variety, and after trying several signature dishes myself, it is easy to understand why this conveyor belt sushi restaurant continues to attract a steady stream of diners throughout the day.

“ We were walking Causeway Bay and needed a sushi fix. We signed up for 2 and waited maybe 15 minutes. The sushi was fresh and yummy. We ate a lot. It was an affordable lunch. If we had stayed longer we could have taken advantage of their happy hour/ afternoon specials. Definitely worth checking out. ”

“ Deliberately visited this Sushiro in Causeway Bay for their time-limited Haikyuu-themed store in May with my friend and my sis. . We ordered the following Haikyuu collab specials: -Shrimp & Avocado Wrap It was a wrap that combined shrimp, avocado, mayonnaise and crab roe. Topped with crab roe and mayonnaise, the shrimp was satisfying and the avocado underneath added a creamy texture to the wrap. The whole combination was refreshing. This item came with a randomly selected mini character pick, with 20 different types available. -Shake Crispy French Fries The fries were similar to McDonald's' shake shake fries, and we could mix them with garlic cream flavour seasoning powder. The fries were extremely crispy and hot, and the garlic cream flavour was rich and savoury. This item came with a randomly selected transparent/double-sided collection card. -Marble Strawberry White Chocolate Mousse Cake The cake tasted better than I expected. The strawberry sauce was not too sour, and the white chocolate was not overly sweet. The mousse had an aromatic scent that complemented the sponge cake at the bottom. This item came with a randomly selected acrylic keychain, with 16 different types available. . The resto was adorned with various Haikyuu characters, and we were lucky enough to sit at a table with Oikawa's face on it. I felt super shiawase to take pics with different Haikyuu characters. Hope there will be more anime collab for Sushiro in the future. ”

“ My wife and I both spent enough time in Japan to know good from bad. We rarely have the budget to eat at the top end Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong and have tried all sorts of places around Causeway Bay. This was our first visit to Sushiro and we will definitely return. The reason is simple - I can't recall ever having sushi of this quality at this price. The two of us ate an enormous amount of food (sorry no pictures), we were happy with pretty much everything we ordered, we left full, and the bill came out to HK$319. The downsides? It seems there is always a long wait for a seat here, at least 30 minutes, with no place to sit while waiting except on the floor. Also, the menu may seem extensive but it's actually a lot of combinations of the same ingredients. There are very few choices for sashimi, a somewhat limited sushi list, and maki but no temaki. We didn't know (until too late this time) that one needs to order ginger, tempura sauce, shichimi from the menu. But, all of that being said, the staff were super nice and helpful, we enjoyed everything we ate, and we'll definitely return. ”

“ Very popular Japanese restaurant. They operate a ticketing system to queue for a table. You can also do it online. Being so popular, you are limited to 90 minutes to complete your meal. You can either order using the table that is on the table or pick up dishes from the conveyor belt. When you order from the tablet, your dishes are delivered via the conveyor belt just like a model railway. How fun. Dishes are reasonable in price and the food fresh. Delicious. Highly recommended. ”

“ The best sushiro I've been to, I've only visited 3 so far though. We had to reserve seats 1-2 weeks in advance. Walk ins take a long time I think, we couldn't be bothered seeing the amount of people standing waiting there ”

“ We had a good time here. The food was surprisingly good for a chain conveyor belt sushi. The Sushiro chain seems to be better outside of Japan (Taiwan and here, at least). Lots of yummy food, I wasn’t pleasantly surprised though I can’t even tell you what I ate cus we scarfed it down faster than it came. ”

“ A good value sushi chain offering a core menu along with seasonal specials that change every month or so. This branch is extremely busy, so it’s best to reserve a table in advance or be prepared for a long wait. ”
